Information regarding the issue of online application forms and commencement of admissions is out on the CLAT website. CLAT 2017 is to be conducted by CNLU, Patna, on 14th May, 2017, and the resultsare expected to be out by 29th May, 2017.
Soon after that, from 5th June 2017, the counselling and seat-allotment process should begin. The students will be allotted seats in 18 NLUs – including MNLU, Nagpur from this year – on the basis of merit-cum-preference, after which the students are supposed to deposit the fee within the given time to lock their seats. If a student fails to do so, the seat will be forfeited automatically. Three to four such rounds of counselling and allotment will take place to allot as many as 2312 seats in the 5-year integrated law programme.
